We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with our Milestones family! Our founder, Dr. Lee Ann Annotti, was recently featured in Voyage Jacksonville’s “Conversations” series, highlighting Jacksonville’s most inspiring professionals and change-makers.
This recognition means so much to our team, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the passion and purpose behind Milestones Child Psychology.
A Journey Rooted in Passion and Purpose
Dr. Annotti’s path to founding Milestones Child Psychology has been shaped by years of dedicated training and a genuine love for supporting families. She earned her Master of Science from Tulane University and her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Maryland. She then completed a specialized fellowship at the Westchester Institute for Human Development in New York.
It was during this fellowship that Dr. Annotti discovered her true calling: making psychological evaluations a therapeutic and empowering experience for families: not just a clinical process.
Building Something Different
After working in hospital settings in New Orleans and Jacksonville, Dr. Annotti recognized that families deserved more than rushed appointments and long wait times. She envisioned a practice where every child and caregiver feels seen, heard, and supported throughout their journey.
That vision became Milestones Child Psychology.
Here in Ponte Vedra Beach, we provide expert neuropsychological evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning differences in a private, safe, and personalized environment. Our goal is to give your family clarity, understanding, and a clear path forward.
Collaboration at the Heart of Everything We Do
One thing that truly sets Dr. Annotti’s approach apart is her commitment to collaboration. She believes that parents are the experts on their own children, and our role is to work alongside you: not just hand you a report and send you on your way.
In collaboration with caregivers, we strive to provide tools and recommendations that strengthen family bonds and support your child’s unique development. Whether it’s understanding your child’s learning style or preparing for the next steps, you’re never alone in this process.
Advocating for Your Child’s Success
Dr. Annotti is also deeply passionate about educational advocacy. She understands that navigating IEP and 504 meetings can feel overwhelming, and she’s dedicated to helping families feel confident and prepared when advocating for their child’s needs at school.
Your child deserves the right support in the classroom, and we’re here to help you make that happen.
What This Feature Means to Us
Being recognized by Voyage Jacksonville is a wonderful reminder of why we do this work. Every evaluation, every meeting, every conversation with a family is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Dr. Annotti often says that being both a psychologist and a parent gives her a unique perspective on the families she serves. She gets it. And that compassion shines through in everything we do at Milestones.
